Ashley is an artist expressing her creations through analogue photography. She has always been interested in story telling and healing through the creation of art.
Through her connection with the natural world, she has uncovered two muses that tell her stories: mother nature and the human figure. As a result for her love for combining the two, Ashley’s artistic process is a blend of intuition, intention and love.
Ashley is a skateboarder of over 20 years. It brings her profound joy that she has always wanted to share with others. The lack of female representation in skateboarding led her on a journey of teaching, mentoring and connecting with youth over skateboarding. Supporting youth to learn in a safe space while having fun is fundamental in supporting a happy, healthy and thriving community.
Diving further into her purpose and love for community, led her to facilitating skateboarding workshops for both youth and adults. She has been facilitating skateboarding workshops throughout the Yukon and British Columbia for the last five years.
